Two kinds of people

I’ve been very fortunate to hear from a lot of people these past two weeks. Some have been people I know and some have been people I’ve never met.

They’ve all had the same reason to get in touch and that has been our video series on Connecting with the Horse.

For some of my friends, they are still mystified that I can spend so many years working with horses. It’s not that they don’t want to understand, it’s just that they really don’t ‘get it’.

Yet I’ve also heard from people I’ve never met who love horses the way I do and some of them have shared really great stories about their time with horses.

It’s been an interesting couple of weeks and it’s been especially fun being able to connect with so many horse lovers from so many places on earth.

We may live on different continents and speak in different languages but the love of horses unifies us all.

Is there anything horses can’t do?

🙂

I know what you mean, Pat.
Our sense of smell is so evocative; as soon as I smell horses, immediately I’m in my happy place – calm, relaxed, and filled with tremendous contentment and peace. There’s no better way to spend time than leaning on the paddock fence watching horses….it’s where some of my best thinking has occurred.
Thanks again for the fantastic videos.

    Pat,
I love this video and the story about Barb. I’m on the side of “Loves Horses and Gets It.”
Thank you for this. I’m enjoying the time getting caught up on your videos. It’s my horse “fix.”

    1. It’s so nice to hear from you Karen. I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos and feel free to stop by the farm any time if you want to enhance your horse fix with a little touch of a velvety nose…:-)
