This video started out being about bowed tendons in horses. I chose to show you Holly as she came to us a few years back with an old tendon injury.
But as often happens when I think about Holly, I ended up reflecting on her wonderfully kind and generous nature. From what I understand, she really didn’t have a good in start in life and yet once she figured out she could trust us, she seemed able to let go of all her bad past experiences and concentrate on enjoying her new life and her new friends.
I feel like there’s so much to learn from Holly’s ability to forgive and forget.

Thank you so much for this video! I now know how to recognize a bowed tendon!…and to feel the difference between a good tendon and a not so good one. Unfortunately you had me tearing up at the end with the shot of Holly trotting up to you. Her curiosity and trust in you overcame the fear of a simple tri-pod and camera!! How can you not love her!!
She seems like such a curious cutie. I’m very glad you were able to get her to HH and give her an enjoyable life 🙂
