The Training Pyramid

I know a lot of people think these principles of training are only for advanced riders or dressage, but that really isn’t the case.

The bottom three tiers especially benefit any horse in any discipline.

This week the discussion is about the base of the pyramid, the foundation of all of our training…and I know some of you might say that you personally don’t train horses. But remember, every interaction we have with the horse, we teach him something…intentionally, hopefully…:-)

I remember this in my training there! When there is a good rhythm, it creates an optimal learning atmosphere. This is true I think, for a lot of learning experiences, but definitely makes sense the way you explain it.!
