I’m often admittedly slow to pick up on trends and ‘expressions’ people use. One of the ones I keep hearing all the time lately is ‘being present’ and another is ‘being in the moment.’
I guess working with horses all my life I never realized this was a thing…I suppose because horses pretty much demand that you stay ‘present’ all the time.
Anyway, this week’s video is just a few thoughts on how animals in general and horses in particular have no trouble teaching us this lesson.
Pat, I absolutely loved this video… I think it’s one of your best. I was a ‘reluctant’ horseman when I learned to ride about twelve years ago now. And my reluctant horse buddy, Lonergan knew it. He screwed with me until the day I finally got ‘in the moment’ with him. It was happy trails after that. Thanks for sharing an important message.
