Just a quick thought this week…because the kids at the farm, staff and students alike, reminded me of how it could be.
Horses are such generous souls and appreciating them is the first step to great horsemanship.
May those who respect our equine friends always be in the majority.

Harrogate Hills does a wonderful job of instilling in the young rider the mind set of respect, not only for the horse, but fellow equestrians, equipment, coaches, barn protocol and love of the sport. As you said, these qualities are transferable to future endeavours with a learned work ethic from a young age.
Hats off to all the staff at Harrogate Hills for their dedication to the beginner rider, intermediate rider and more experienced rider and yes the senior riders of a certain age!!! LOL!!!
