How the horse moves

It feels like ages ago now but one cold winter day some of my young students agreed to give me a hand with a little project. We bandaged the horses’ diagonal legs and then set about to make make a video that would show how the horse moves.

I think it will help give you a sense of what’s going on underneath us when we ride.

The more we learn, the more we can make things better for our equine partners.

Thank you loved the videos. I have just started to ” feel” my horse under me. This will definitely help to continue that to be able to refine my movements helping to keep “us” in balance .
    Thanks again!

    1. Thank you Tracy. I think you’re already light years ahead just by the fact that you’re aware of the importance of “feeling” your horse. Best of luck with the adventure!
