Don’t let breaking news break you.
I find that horses can anchor us to reality sometimes.
Maybe that’s because they just don’t spend too much time worrying about what might be coming. Instead they tend to deal with issues as the issue arises and then go back to enjoying their life once the issue has subsided.
While we humans don’t quite have that luxury, especially in these surreal times, there is something to say for varying the information we feed our brains. It doesn’t mean we should ignore reality, maybe just vary the menu once and a while so that our brain can catch a break.
